In the course of this time, due to the efforts of overseas Uchinanchus and Okinawa Prefecture, a remarkable organization called “World Uchinanchus International Organization (Global Community and Network)” has been formed that should be noted even in the history of immigrants. It was. This can be said to be the world-famous historical heritage of immigrant prefecture Okinawa .
The “Uchinanchu World Championships” held in its roots, Okinawa Prefecture, has grown as a global event that symbolizes symbiosis and harmony in a diverse and modern world. The existence of Uchinanchu in the world that supports the tournament is an irreplaceable property of Okinawa Prefecture, as is well known.
The Uchinanchu Network, which is based on the bonds of these people, has been strengthened by establishing “World Uchinanchu Day”, disseminating information on the website, and holding various events.
Thanks to the efforts of Okinawa Prefecture so far, Uchinanchu Network has become a strong soft power. It is expected that contributing to the development of Okinawan society will be the succession and construction of this as a stronger one for the future.
Furthermore, considering the situation that Uchinanchu children in Hawaii, North America, and South America are flowing and spreading globally beyond Asia, Europe, and beyond the residence of first-generation immigrants, in order to maintain and strengthen the Uchinanchu network in the future , I think it is necessary to set up a facility to control the network in Okinawa.
To achieve this, we will establish a committee to support the establishment of the “World Uchinanchu Center (tentative name)” in collaboration with various private exchange groups .

Thanks to the strong support by the prefectural office, the Uchinanchu network has grown into a strong soft power. We, proposers, think it our duty to further strengthen the net work, inherit the legacy; thereby, contribute the development of Okinawan community.
At present, many of the younger generations in Hawaii, North America and South America have been actively working globally in Asia and European countries. Under such circumstances, it is keenly felt that we should establish a facility in Okinawa to maintain and strengthen the Uchinanchu network.
